Room 13 made gingerbread men. Lexi and Jill helped us. We mixed the ingredients in a bowl. We looked in the Gingerbread Man book so we knew what to do. We poured honey and egg into the bowl. We put some sugar in the bowl. We made the wet ingredients in one bowl and then we put the dry ingredients in another one, and then we poured them in together. Lexi scrunched the ingredients into dough. We washed our hands. We rolled the dough into a big flat piece, and then we cut out gingerbread men. We gave the gingerbread men to Lexi and she put them on a tray. She wrote our names above the gingerbread men. Lexi and Jill went down to the staffroom to bake our gingerbread men. We decorated our gingerbread men with lollies and icing. They tasted like ginger, but they were not spicy. They were yummy.
